“Thanks for coffee and for being so welcoming! I feel confident that I’ll be fulfilling my duties to a high standard as a forklift operator.”
We are excited to announce that we are open and operating under COVID-19 Alert Level 2 and will resume our regular courses as follows:
We will be running these courses while taking all precautions in line with government recommendations.
Workplace Safety Solutions provide quality training, assisting your team to become qualified and compliant across a number of vehicles in various industries.
We believe in practical experience; thus, all our courses are very hands on. Our forklift courses cover operators with previous experience, as well as training for those without prior knowledge. For those looking for licence endorsements, we offer Class 2-5 heavy vehicle, and Wheels, Roller & Tracks endorsements. We also offer a Class 2-5 learner licence course, which is suitable for beginner drivers.
Under the Government Traffic Light System, all course participants are required to wear masks, social distance, and show their vaccine passports prior to starting the course.
Employing adequate training and safety measures for your business when operating forklifts is an essential part in ensuring correct operation of machinery. Lack of forklift training and safety awareness of employees can have an adverse impact on your business which can include; accidents, fines and penalties.
Our variety of Class 2-5 licences make the process of obtaining your next truck licence easy. All our courses are assessed against pre-moderated NZQA standards, meaning your training is part of the National Qualification Framework.
Completing qualifications through Workplace Safety gives you the peace of mind you are receiving quality service and knowledge to apply in the workforce.
In order to drive a special-type vehicle on a ‘road’, you must hold the correct licence endorsements. For current operators we offer a Wheels, Rollers & Track (WRT) licence endorsement course, which enables you to legally drive special-type vehicles on a ‘road’.
Please note, this is not an operator course and you must have the appropriate full class licence for respective special-type vehicle you want endorsed.
