In order to drive a special-type vehicle on a ‘road’, you must hold the correct licence endorsements. For current operators we offer a Wheels, Rollers & Track (WRT) licence endorsement course, which enables you to legally drive special-type vehicles on a ‘road’.

Please note, this is not an operator course and you must have the appropriate full class licence for respective special-type vehicle you want endorsed.

The aim of this WRT course is to provide current operators the skills and knowledge for safe legal operation of special-type vehicles. These NZQA approved courses cover the road rules and basic handling of respective vehicles.
