Our approved course will include a logbook unit standard 24089 (unless you can prove you have completed the unit with an NZTA approved provider within the last twelve months and you can demonstrate that you are competent), complete the Class 5 Unit Standard 17577 which consists of theory and a practical drive assessment.
The practical drive assessment is conducted in non-synchromesh gearbox applications.
The combination vehicle used for assessment must be loaded to 50% of its maximum payload, no less than 20,000kg.
- Training in the non-synchromesh gearbox is not part of the course content.
- Should the candidate require practical training, this is completed at an additional cost.
- Where the client requires the units to be registered with NZQA a credit charge of $6.00 per credit will apply.
Trainee Numbers: Minimum of 1, Maximum of 5 per trainer
Duration: Maximum 2 Days – Subject to skill level
Course Costs: $1,580.00 exclusive of GST
Additional training where trainee deemed not competent: $160.00 exclusive of GST (per hour)
